Xbox One S announced after leak

The slimmer version from Microsoft now called Xbox One S has been unveiled by Microsoft at E3 after a leak earlier today.

As we have rumored the console this week we seems to have been correct on the console to be 40% smaller and it will support 4K DVD and Blu-Ray playback. The console will cost 210 GBP which will be equicalent to 265 EUR. The console will be a mix of white and silver with a black bottom and it also comes with a stand, if the stand is part of the price or at an extra cost, we don’t know yet.

Amidst this unveiling, Microsoft said the new console, code-named Project Scorpio will offer virtual reality and 4K Gaming. The virtual reality part we are guessing it will be compatible and supporting the Microsoft Holo lens.

Thou the console market seems to be saturated, the console is hoping to do very well in it’s august release. With the console’s release, Microsoft also announced cross-platform gaming which means that if you buy a game for your Xbox, you will be able to play the game on your Windows 10 as well at no extra cost. This has been called Xbox Play Anywhere.

“It’s the simplest way to find other gamers with the same goal in mind,” explained Mike Ybarra from Microsoft.
