Date: 22nd October
Location: The Royal Society of Medicine, 1 Wimpole Street, London W1G 0AE
The games industry?s relationship with the media has been a volatile one for some time now. While adult language, sex and violence often pass by undetected for the film, television and music industries, the games industry is coming under increased scrutiny and pressure from an apparently hostile media.
Through expert panel discussion and audience participation, this event aims to establish whether the games industry does get a raw deal. Are there hidden contributing factors? Are there solutions and strategies which the games industry could apply?
The panel and audience will attempt to break down the multiple issues which have created this environment, including media spend, age ratings, adult content and crisis handling whilst also looking into the strategies of other creative industries which have, and are, facing the same issues.
Refreshments and lunch provided for all attendees FREE
